The

Universe

“When I first came out to L.A. [in 1968], my friend [photographer] Joel Bernstein found an old book in a flea market that said: Ask anyone in America where the craziest people live and they’ll tell you California. Ask anyone in California where the craziest people live and they’ll say Los Angeles. Ask anyone in Los Angeles where the craziest people live and they’ll tell you Hollywood. Ask anyone in Hollywood where the craziest people live and they’ll say Laurel Canyon. And ask anyone in Laurel Canyon where the craziest people live and they’ll say Lookout Mountain. So I bought a house on Lookout Mountain.”

"Terratone" is a collective that aims to create content, resources and living sanctuaries that will facilitate the expansion of creative expression. Helping creatives venture into the depths of expression through cutting edge methods, technologies and even ancient wisdom .

Our flag ship location and roots echo the artistry of the 60’s and 70’s of Hollywood… the era where art made people think and understood how to draw people in…like the glory days of Laurel Canyon: where many of the greatest artists from the era collaborated. A place that was the home of The Mamas and The Papas, Jim Morrison, The Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson, the Beach Boys, Ringo Starr, many more musicians,  film makers, actors and artists for years to come. We aim to bring audiences back to a time where music, movies, and art made people imagine...

Back when art felt poetic… not fabricated or mechanically produced... just pure art... a time when songwriting and screenplays had depth…Terratone has a vintage undertone and allows both artists and audiences to satisfy their need for authentic works (i.e., music, visual art, movies, poetry) and is reminiscent of a time when counterculture activity flourished.

Terratone is an alliance for creatives who wish to build universes, explore their talents, and expand the potentials of the human experience.
